Give your views as the joint health and social care workshop, Friday 13th September in Dewsbury
Do you access health care and social care in Kirklees?
Many people need both health care and social care and we know that many people, including carers and family, have to contact both health and care services seperately, In Kirklees this often means contacting Locala through Single Point of Contact (SPoC) and Kirklees Council through Gateway to Care.
Kirklees Council are supporting a programme of research to understand and improve people’s experiences of contacting services about their individual care, support and health needs. We would like people who have had experience of contacting both health and care services, to join us at this workshop where we will explore:
- What is it like to talk to both organisations separately about the same person?
- Have you had questions about both your own or a loved one’s health care and social care needs?
- How customer friendly is the current setup?
- Could enquiries about health and social care be dealt with differently?
Please join us at the Walsh Building, Dewsbury on Friday 13th September 2019, from 1pm to 2.30pm, for a friendly, informal session to share your insight and experiences. Light refreshments will be provided and travel expenses can be reimbursed.
We can provide assistance to enable you to attend or particpate, if you need it. Please let us know when you book.
Any information you provide will be seen only by the Gateway to Care and Locala team working on this project. We won’t share your details with anyone else.
Thank your for reading and for your interest in shaping the future of social care in Kirklees.
